MOSCOW, Oct 21 (PRIME) -- Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov ordered his subordinates to initiate criminal cases against representatives of the law enforcement authorities for pressure on business, the authority said in a statement on Wednesday.
"The Prosecutor General emphasized at the meeting the need of strong reaction to the cases of non-fulfillment of businessmen checks’ moratorium… If instances of illegal criminal case initiation are detected… consideration of criminal cases against the people in charge in the law enforcement authorities was indicated," the statement read.
He ordered prosecutors to make the issue a matter of special control.
